Hi
gang, I am Blake. I weigh in at around 30kg and I make my home in a
suburb of Athens Greece, about 10k from downtown Athens. Often I am told
I look like a border collie or a shepherd collie mix. I was born in
Marathon 42.2 k from Athens (yeah, that's where the battle of Marathon
took place and where marathon running originated). My mom was part
German shepherd but I never came to know my canine dad. Judging from my
looks though, he must have been big and extremely good looking. My human
dad taking into account my German bloodline and my world famous
birthplace jokingly says that my full name is Blakunen von Marathon. I
am really good with kids, girls, boys, men, women, everybody!! Life's
good to me. I get all the love and care that I want and then some.
My family loves me very much. They've had me since I was a two-month-old
pup. At first they kept me in the yard but each morning they found me
sleeping on the door mat pressing my body to the door opening. Needless
to say I didn't have to pull that trick more than three or four times
until they allowed me into the house proper. Every evening when dad
comes in from work I fall on my back with all four legs in the air and
sit still until he gives me a good tummy rub. Then he calls me over to
the kitchen for a milk biscuit. I love my family, I can't even begin to
imagine living without them (I strongly suspect same goes for them). I
really like car rides, and in the winter when we go to the mountains
near Athens. I love playing in the snow.
Ohh did I mention I love treats?
