This
is my new baby, Ransom. We've only had him since August 25 and he's
a wonderful addition to our family. He is a rescue dog, put into a
foster home after being taken out of the pound, then he came to us. I
found him on PetFinder, a wonderful
site with lots of beautiful animals waiting for loving homes. We were
fortunate enough to be accepted to go meet him since many people were
asking about him, and super fortunate to get him.
He is a very calm, gentle and loving dog. We couldn't ask for anything
better. He loves to snuggle and loves belly rubs. He would lie on his
back all day if you would scratch his belly. He's very friendly, loves
all people (including kids), other dogs and even gets along with cats!!
I don't understand why anyone could abandon him because he is just such
a perfect dog. He is pretty smart, within two weeks he learned sit, down,
come, paw, dance and crate. I'm still working on the stay command, but
he seems to be responding well.
He is not your typical puppy, he doesn't seem to have that high energy
that tears the house down. He's always happy and will love you no matter
what. He can brighten up my day so easily with his soft fur and ears and
his wonderful dog smile Whenever he sees someone coming to pet him his
tail goes mad, thumping on the floor if he's lying down. I am convinced
that there is no better dog, as even our neighbors who have dogs want
to steal him from us. :)
