This
is Gesso, an American Eskimo/Chihuahua mix who came into the pound
as a very sick, emaciated puppy. Originally, we were only going to pull
him from the shelter and foster him for our local rescue group until he
was well enough to be placed in a new home. But we fell in love and
after two weeks, it was clear he wasn't going anywhere.
Gesso has since regained his health, and taken his place in our family
as a faithful companion and playmate to our Eskie. His favorite things
are trips to the beach, swimming, turning our home into his own private
obstacle course, and snuggling. He recently completed obedience lessons
alongside his former foster brother, Oscar, and was so good he has been
recommended for agility training.
