Hi,
I'm Kohl! I'm five and my mom says I'm the best dog in the whole world!
My mom picked me out from all my other brother and sisters because I was
the wildest one of the litter. All my brothers and sisters were trying
to sleep, but I kept crawling all over them trying to get them to play;
next thing I knew I was whisked away into a whole new world!
When my mom brought me home there was another dog there who mom said was
the Queen of the house and I was her apprentice! I was almost as big as
her (she was a Jack Russell Terrier). She took me out into the yard and
showed me all the spots that had to be guarded and the best places to
dig; she even taught me how to sit so my mom didn't have to! The Queen
died a few years ago and my mom was so sad, but I was there to give her
lots of love. Now I am the King of the house!
My mom had to move last year to go to a University so I live with my
Gramma and Grandpa and my dog cousin, Jaxx! Whenever I get into trouble
outside I send out a long bark/howl and Jaxx comes shooting out the dog
door to help me! My mom says that I am her favorite adventure companion;
we go for long walks out in the woods together and they are so fun! I
love to dig for 'lunch' and I often catch what I am after which makes my
mom make funny sounds and run away from me.
I am extremely intelligent too, everyone says so! Whenever my dog cousin
gets a treat and I don't I come running to my mom and give her a little
'woof' and she jumps up and gets me something, too! One time my Gramma
accidentally left the gate open and I ran in and chased her around the
house and acted funny until she went and looked outside! Even my
Great-Grandpa who says he doesn't like Rottweilers says I'm the smartest
dog he's ever met and he always tells me how handsome I am! I'm glad
that the Queen taught me so well because I want to keep my family safe
because I love them so much and they love me, too!
