Hi!
My name is Skye (a.k.a. Skye-Bear, Skye-Blue, and Poo-chie). Mommy
and Daddy adopted me from an animal shelter after I ran away from my
first home. I was worried that I looked too funny to be adopted because
I had a huge fluffy head and tail and a skinny pink little body (the
shelter shaved off my matted hair from my neck to my tail) but my
parents saw the love in my eyes and brought me home with them. It took a
while, but my hair grew and I turned into a beautiful girl.
I live with three cats! I chase them up the stairs, down the stairs and
around and around the coffee table. They whack me on the nose but I just
can't help myself. Don't ever tell them this - but deep down I love them.
I just like to show them who the boss is.
I love to go out for walks - especially in the snow. I dig my nose way
down through the snow and try to make tunnels with my head. I always
come up with a face full of snow. I must look pretty funny! I feel
kind of bad for mommy and daddy though - I don't think that they like the
cold as much as I do. I hear their teeth chatter while I am playing but
I know that the snow doesn't last all year round so I have to get in as
much play time as I can!
I could keep talking about myself all day but mommy has some food on her
plate that I am going to go try to steal. If that doesn't work I will
just give the "puppy dog eyes" - that always works!
