*waves a small furry paw* Hewwo! My name is Trixie and in the picture I am nine months old. My previous family had let me get very thin, then they threw me out and abandoned me. Someone found me and brought me in to the Welland Humane Society. I was only there a couple of days when someone wanted to see me! When this lady with pink hair picked me up, I covered her in kisses and we went outside. I don't run, I bound! My new mommy says my ears go straight out like wings and I look like I'm ready to take flight. After having to wait a week for my operation, I was able to go to my new home the day after. I walked into an apartment that had a nice new big fluffy bed and new toys, just for me! My old family didn't do much with me because I'm still learning how to play and walk on a leash. I had my mommy all worried last week because I had a reaction to the rabies vaccine and was vomiting up all night, but she stayed up with me the entire night and read while I slept and got sick. I got a new winter coat, a raincoat, two hoodies, an argyle sweater and a blue shirt so I stay warm when it's less-than-nice outside - this is important when you live in Ontario.

I was having a small problem keeping food down so my Mommy called a Pickyour.. Peeken.. ("Mommy, how do you spell again what you were told I was?" "Pekingese" said Mommy) Pekingese breeder in the province and asked her some questions, then got her email address and sent her some pictures. The breeder had said "She'd make a cute Peke, but she's a Tibetan Spaniel ... not the best specimen, but she is one." So my Mommy and Grandma looked online for Tibetan Spaniels and so much sounded and looked like me! Then Mommy figured out I might have food allergies and we went through a lot of kinds of food to find one that agreed with me and we found some! She thinks that that is why my first family threw me away, they didn't think of food allergies, either. I have kept food down since December 27, 2004 and I'm gaining weight!

I think she really loves me and I found my forever home!
