Our
dear Lea has been living with us for the past five years, and what a
joy it is. She weighs 150 pounds but thinks she's tiny and doesn't
understand why she can't sleep on my laps! She would very much
like to share the bed with my husband and I, but unfortunately one of us
would have to sleep somewhere else, plus she snores...
I wasn't sure, back five years ago, if I wanted a big drooly Saint in the
house but when I saw her my heart melted. I never regretted my decision
of getting her and besides, she only drools when she drinks water or
when she's been running. I never feel lonely at home when she's with
me, she's always near by. She loves the snow in the winter but will
suffer the heat of the house just to be with us. She is a Gentle Giant
and never moves or breaks anything in the house (as opposed to my new
kitten). Since we do not have any kids, she's our baby and sure knows it
and takes advantage of it!
