This
is Zeke, a two-year-old Australian Shepherd, who spent eight months in a
Rock Springs, Wyoming shelter before coming to Illinois last summer to
live. His hind quarters & ears were so badly matted that they had to be
shaved. He has turned out to be a wonderfully loyal gentle companion,
who loves to play ball, go for rides, and eat "Greenies". Rescuing him
was the best move I have ever made. He fit into our lifestyle seamlessly.
He eats a meat/veggie diet which has brought out the vivid colors in his
coat. He actually changed colors in the first couple of months of eating
this combination. He became a much deeper brown rather than a washed out
blond.
He loves to run (three miles) and then rest and drink water on the tailgate of
my pickup truck. Zeke's just the best.
