Our
beloved beagle, Maggie May, is the sweetest dog in the world. Maggie
May came into our lives as an engagement present from my parents. We
picked her up in rural Maine, where I grew up, and she has made the
cross-country trip to California, where we live in Sacramento.
Why do we love Miss May? When you ask her if she "wants to go for a
walk", her head cocks to the side and then she rolls on the floor in
extreme bliss. It is what we call her "happy dance". As well, her tongue
is too long and is always sticking out of her mouth! When she forgets to
keep it in, it becomes as dry as an old piece of leather. She snuggles
under the covers every night and keeps our toes warm.
We love Maggie May for her kindness and she has brought our family much happiness!
