This
is Abby. I'm not exactly sure what
breed mix she is, but my best guess is English Shepherd/Australian
Shepherd mix. She resides with me and my seven other dogs in Wetumpka, Alabama.
Abby was rescued from the shelter when she was about four months
old. I just began a new job there after volunteering for several months.
She came in a couple of weeks before I started. I don't know what drew
me to her. When I first started, I didn't really even pay attention to
her. The day I did, I was in love. She was the absolute sweetest dog
there. I tried to get her a home, but no one wanted her. She was in an
awkward puppy stage, so everyone thought she was ugly. I couldn't let
anything happen to her, on her scheduled day of euthanasia, I brought
her home to foster. She never left. Abby is a wonderful soul. She loves
anyone and everyone she meets. Everyone who has met Abby has fallen in
love with her. She is very gentle with children in particular. She has
yet to meet a child she didn't love. Abby is special because of her huge
heart and her love for life.
