Joker
is a much loved dog! He was only ten months old in this picture.
He got a new coat and wanted to show it off at Thanksgiving. He enjoys
many things, some of his favorites include sleeping on the couch,
playing with his best buddy, our black lab Ace, going camping, playing
at the playground with kids, and any toy that squeaks is in grave
danger — those are his favorites. His fears are vacuums, loud noises,
swimming, and being left alone at home. Some of his friends include Ace
the lab, Buddy the horse, Sylvester & Zena the cats, and any other
animal that will be friendly back. His enemies (and I wouldn't want to
be on this list!) are any delivery man (we meet the Chinese delivery guy
at the street!), the meter readers, and anyone who seems suspicious
lurking around the yard, and this could be the neighbor gardening or
someone taking a walk.
Joker weighs about 125 pounds now and will grow larger, somewhere near
150 pounds. He is just like his cartoon friends Scooby Doo and
Marmaduke, he is scared easily and is always hungry! Just like in this
picture he loves to wear anything we can put on him, from bandanas to
orange t-shirts during hunting season, he likes to get dressed for
whatever occasion.
Joker will put on a scary face, but don't be too alarmed because
underneath that deep bark he really is just a sweet loving boy. His
ears are always full of expressions, and so cute. Joker really loves to
take a bath, sounds funny, for such a big dog he stands there in the tub
and really enjoys his shower. He loves to play with children and is
even better at protecting them from harm. There is always more to love
when you have a big dog!
