We
were very lucky to adopt Dillon from a rescue organization when he
was just a puppy. He had been found wandering around in a field with
some other adult dogs. The theory is that he was probably part of an
unwanted farm litter, and was lucky enough to escape being destroyed.
When we saw him, it was love at first sight. There is not a mean bone
in his body - he is always smiling and wagging his tail (that is when
he's not napping).
He has a younger sister, Mina, who is definitely the boss of the
four-legged members of our household. He doesn't mind, though. He's
just happy to be part of the pack.
Dillon moves a little bit slower now that he's getting older - he takes
pills for his joints twice a day, but we'll do anything we can to make
him feel better. He's been part of our pack for a long time, and we
hope to have many more years with this special guy!
