This
is my best friend Chanel, he is extremely important in my life. I
am in charge of a huge school complex in Luxembourg and Chanel is the
security manager. On weekends and in the evening when I do my round
(this takes me one hour each time), he is always checking with me. He knows
this is his "job."
Friday evening, three weeks ago, he stopped before a classroom and looked at
me as if he wanted to say "come over here and open this door for me." I
did it, and he entered the class. As I switched on the light, he was
standing in front of a little bird who flow into the classroom and could
not get out any more as the windows were closed. This bird hurt himself
as he flow against the window. We picked up the bird, took it back home
and took care of him till he was recovered and we could release him.
Without Chanel the bird would not have survived the weekend. For this I
think Chanel is even more special than ever!
He is a good dog and very kind and gentle with everyone, even wild
birds! But he will also protect me if he needs to. He is my best friend.
