I
adopted Guido from an animal shelter three years ago. He has been the
best companion I could have ever wished for. He is loving, loyal, well
behaved, and very smart. About six months after I had him he was attacked
by another dog at a park, and nearly died. He spent several days at the
vet, and finally got better. I am so thankful he is alive.
His favorite thing to do is to destroy his dog toys and leave parts of
them all over the house. He also loves treats and will do as many
tricks as it takes to get one. He is very good at hunting rodents, even
though I don't like him to. He is very spoiled and knows he can get
pretty much whatever he wants. He sleeps in my bed, and gets to go
almost everywhere I go. He can't stand anyone fighting or crying. If
people are fighting he gets between them and barks. If someone is
crying he jumps on their lap and licks their face. He also acts as the
police when we go to the dog park. If he could, he would hand out
tickets to dogs speeding, or not behaving.
I happen to be in the petstore one day and saw they had photo ops with
the Easter bunny. I couldn't resist. After the picture was taken, he
tried to chew on the rabbits ears. I think he thought it was a giant
dog toy!
