We
came across Vito by accident. My fiance and I were looking to adopt
a puppy, but believe it or not we had no luck. We got a phone call one
day from a friend saying that she knew of a few puppies that needed
homes. We set up a meeting and it was love at first sight. When I saw
his beautiful face I knew I had to have him. That very day we went
shopping bought him the world and took him home with us!
Our little guy was named after the Godfather Vito "Don" Corleone. He is
an honorary Italian, and boy does he fit right in. My little man helps
me make the meatballs & aranchinis every Sunday. He is also a big fan
of Mamas cooking. He loves to follow me around the kitchen while I cook
in hopes that he may be rewarded for all his hard work. Which by the
way he is! Some of his favorite dishes consist of celery, carrots,
spinach, and he does get a little sneak of the good stuff, like rice
balls & pasta!
Vito also has a little sister, Tiamo kitty, and a step-brother and
step-sister Harley and Jesse. Tiamo and Vito still don't see eye to
eye, and if they do...the fur usually flies! However, when he goes to
his Nana's house, he has a blast with his other siblings. From what she
tells me his feet don't touch the floor! He looks forward to seeing
them every day for his play dates.
Besides the fact that he can be a little howling fool, we love him to
pieces. He likes to "spoon" with me on the couch and watch TV, and help
his Daddy at work pushing dry cleaning bins! Our life would not be the
same with out our little man, Vito, li amiamo così tanto. Siete il
nostro angelo piccolo!
