My
mom found me at a rescue location outside a Petco. She didn't know I
was a miniature schnauzer because I still had my full tail. (Mom loves
my full tail. She says it looks like a big feather plume!) Mom says I
am the best. Akane, my beagle sister, wasn't too sure about me at first
but now we are best friends and we make mom laugh with our antics. My
mom now works with Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston and she says I
am the cause of it. She keeps track of all the medical records for
them. I put up with her doing that some but when I think she has been
at the computer long enough, I will growl at her or get one of my toys
and throw it at her. She finally gets tickled and pays me the attention
I deserve. I am told I am named after mom's dad, Phillip, but with a
spanish spelling and french pronunciation. Hey, I'm international!!!
Oh, I almost forgot. I am a pin-up boy. Mom submitted my photo to
MSRH's calendar contest and I was chosen as Mr. May so I guess I am kind
of a celebrity!!! Mom says everyone thinks I am a golden color when they
see my photo but I'm not I am white. The photo was taken in the evening
with the evening light. I look pretty good don't you think?!?!
Note from mom: Felipe came into my life after my almost sixteen-year-old
teacup poodle passed away and Akane had gone to live with my daughter
for a while. I couldn't stand the empty apartment and Felipe has
definitely filled that void. Akane came back to live with us about five
months after I adopted Felipe. I don't know what I would do without my
handsome boy or my baby girl!
