I
acquired Sandy through a mutual friend when she was eight weeks old. I
only went to "look," but once I saw her, I had to have her! Sandy loves
being outside. On any given day, she can be seen lying on the front
lawn absorbing the rays or playing with her accumulation of tennis
balls. She loves to walk, and we walk often - up to 1.5 miles per day.
When the weather permits, we go to the doggie park where she plays with
humans as well as canines! As we settle into the evening, Sandy will
put her paw on my lap to indicate that she wants her head or belly
rubbed. Naturally, I comply. She is the sweetest dog, and we are so
lucky to have her!
Sandy loves people - all people! She's extremely affectionate with a
wonderful temperament. She will greet you at the door, sit for her hugs,
and when she has you close to the floor, she will slowly roll over for
her belly rubs (she has us well trained!).
When we go to the park, she will always interrupt someone else's game of
fetch. She will outrun the other pet, and return the ball to it's
rightful owner. What a schmoozer!
