Ajax
is the most amazing dog I have ever met. I think Ajax could do
anything if he put his mind to it. He is extremely intelligent and loyal
to everyone in his family (Including other pets). He has saved the lives
of our other dogs countless times and I'm sure he would save my life as
well. He is very brave and confident. I know he would do anything for
me. Sometimes I honestly wonder if he's a person stuck in a dog's body
because he is sooo intelligent. He is very sensible as well.
He loves to go on horseback rides, walks, and chase rabbits. Oh yeah,
don't forget - steal my neighbor's dog's food, toys, and even dog
bowls! He is such a trouble maker, however, now we have our yard fenced!
Ajax would fool the other dogs and then steal their yummy canned food
(he only get dry here...poor guy!) Even though he would love to rip my
cat to shreds, he doesn't because (even if it is a cat) it is part of
his family. So, he lets the cat do whatever it wants to him without a
single growl.
We found Ajax out in the desert four years ago. He was hungry, thirsty, and
tired; obviously a stray. He had no collar and his coat was a wreck. You
wouldn't even recognize him!
He does have to be dominant dog so he is our only male dog. He loves
having five female dogs all to himself! He will lay on his back and roll
around while making weird howling/yipping/barking noises. He hates the
hose and won't let it get anywhere near him... I've always wondered why.
