I'm
Riley, and this is me and my big sister Hatcher. Our people love us so
much they take us practically everywhere with them. This is us on our
summer vacation in Oregon. We had a great time there playing in the surf.
It was fun to chase the sea gulls too. I just don't get why the water was so
salty! My lakes and rivers in the Rocky Mountains are much better for a thirsty Labrador.
My mom says I should be in calendars! I love to pose for the camera and I
always wag my tail and wriggle around after the flash goes off. Hatcher's
pretty too; but I have to say she doesn't work it as much as I do! She
prefers to chatter and moan and make funny noises. Mom says she sounds like
a wookie.
New people always say we look just the same but our owners know we're as
different as Swiss and Milk Chocolate! Especially in the summer when my
coat gets really light from all the sunshine. My big sister's also got
about ten pounds on me (I'm just little) ... but that doesn't stop me from
goading her into a game of chase by stealing her favorite ball! It's all
part of what makes me special! Our owners say Hatcher and I are special
because we make them laugh and smile, and we're the best cuddly, warm,
fuzzy snugglers to curl up and watch a movie with. What could be better
than having two Chocolate Labs to keep you warm and smiley?
