We
adopted Chiodo, in December 2004 after losing our Dog,
Misha
in October 2004. Chiodo looks slightly like Misha
and we first saw Chiodo on the SPCA website just after Misha passed on.
But it was too soon for another dog and we were preparing for the
Christmas season. But in late December, we went to peek at the SPCA
website for a possible puppy in the new year, and we noticed that Chiodo
hadn't been adopted. We went to the shelter and met Chiodo, the next day
and we could not believe what a smart, intelligent and well trained dog
she was and how anybody who trained her so well, could give her up.
After some thought (Few Hours) we adopted Chiodo, who is a very friendly
and loving dog, she likes to gives lots of licks and she responds
instantly to all basic commands, everyday, she shows us how grateful she
is that we got her out of the animal shelter and provided her with a
home, she also was very lucky to have inherited most of Misha's Toys, as
Misha was an extremely spoiled dog and now it's Chiodo's turn, we know
nothing of Chiodo's previous family or experiences. But that's all
behind her now, she is in her forever home, and loved as she should be.
