My
husband got Max as a puppy six years ago. He originally wanted an
Airedale, but he was living in a tiny apartment. So he got a Welsh
Terrier instead, and never looked back. Lots of people mistake Max for
an Airedale, because he is large. But he is a Welsh Terrier through and
through.
Max is a wonderful companion. He loves to eat (as you can tell). He
loves to take car rides. He sleeps in the bathroom, sometimes with his
head in the shower because it is cool. He gets sudden bursts of energy
that cause him to run in circles. When he does this outside, he makes a
pretty good version of crop circles.
Max lives with three cats, all of whom he likes to harass in one way or
another. He finally met his match in our baby daughter. Now, she
chases him around the house. When she cries, Max comes and licks her on
the face. When she eats, he sits at the foot of her high chair to help
"clean up" everything she drops. He does a great job - we hardly ever
have to sweep the floor. He's an overall great dog.
