Cocoa
is very, very special to my family and I. I have had her since she
was eight weeks old. When my mother allowed me to get another dog, I was so
excited and already knew that I wanted a Lab. A friend of the family had
puppies so we went to get one. Mom told me not to choose right away
so that we could see their personalities but I had already fallen head
over heels for a reddish brown, pretty, quiet pup and had to have her.
Mom didn't like that, but she got her for me anyway.
When we brought her home, Cocoa was still so well behaved! As she grew
older and started teething, she never chewed any of the furniture or
anything other than her toys. We didn't even have to teach her! She only
barks a few barks when she hears someone outside that we aren't aware
of. She is very friendly to anyone and everyone that we are friendly
to and rolls over on her back for them to rub her tummy! And as you can
tell, she loves it when we get snow, too.
Cocoa is my best friend always and forever. Being in high school is
pretty tough, and she knows when something is wrong and we swear she
understands English! She does! Cocoa and I are inseparable and she
follows me wherever possible. It was destiny for us to be together! I
