Bailey
was heaven-sent to us after losing our beloved dog, Angel. We
are sure Angel played a "heavenly" part in our search for a new "best
friend". Unsure whether or not we wanted to go through the grief of
losing another pet someday, we were very cautious in deciding how to
move forward. Months later, a co-worker of my husband, brought "new
puppy" photos of his dog's litter. Knowing how difficult it would be to
say "No Thanks," we avoided making a decision. "Only two puppies left,"
he told us, "better hurry up and get one". The moment this small
white angel puppy was placed in my arms, looking up at me with her big
brown eyes, and giving me just one small puppy dog kiss... I knew we had
a new pet. Bailey was born April 19, 2003, and came to live with us on
my birthday, June 2. She is a delightful, smart, obnoxious little
girl. She weighs eight to ten pounds.
Bailey has a treasure-load of toys and her very own "Cleveland Browns
Dog Toy Chest"! She can identify almost ten of her favorites by name.
She will go and fetch whatever toy you ask her for by name. She loves
to fetch, and run, and run, and run... loves to play "keep-a-way" with
you and her "baby" (toy). Bailey knows how to fetch, sit up, sit
pretty, lie down, speak, and roll over. She will play hide-and-seek with
you, always hiding under the couch or chair with her tiny butt still
peeking out, (she thinks she's further under than she really is). She
truly is one of the smartest dogs we have owned. She is a good girl,
always eager to please. She brings so much joy and love to our lives, we
are happy to share our lives with her.
