Howdy!
I am Maverick, an energetic, happy Airedale who loves to go swimming
and boating (as you can tell from my picture!). My Mom got me my
doggie life jacket because I was not that confident swimming, but I am
now! I love to go camping and hiking with my family and we do lots of
that, since we live so close to the Rocky Mountains! I am a little
Social Butterfly and just have to say hi and wag my tail to everyone I meet.
I love to play in my back yard, and have friends that come over to
play all the time, even one of my litter-mates! Even though I am a
very friendly boy, I am protective of my family and territory (they
say that is a trait of Airedales?!) so I am told I need learn how not
to bark my head off when the door bell rings! I love to have my chest
scratched when I am laying on my back - it is so soothing!
