My
wife and I received Sugar four years ago, from a home that was not
very loving. She was not abused, but she was also not loved. She was
locked in a pen for her first four years and nobody ever paid her any
attention. Well, that is definitely not a problem now. I
believe if my wife had to choose between Sugar and myself... Sugar
would win.
Sugar now has the good life. She sleeps with us every night and pals
around with our in-laws' black lab, Abby. She gets to visit Abby at
Grandma's house every day when my wife and I are at work. At Grandma's
house she gets even more spoiled than she does at home! Whether it is
working Grandpa for a bone or playing with Abby in the yard, she is
always happy. Lucky dog! If only someone would treat me as well.
Her choice for a Best Buddy would be Abby or Mommy, and her favorite
hobby, by far, is running pell mell through our woods!
