Rodney
came to live with us not long before this picture was taken. At
first, he seemed a little timid and shy and wouldn't leave his human
mom's side. However, now that he is getting comfortable in his new
environment he has become more outgoing.
Due to work schedules, Rodney takes a daily trip in the car and goes to
his Grandpa's house where he gets to interact with his three year old Golden
Retriever aunt, as well as some of the other dogs in the neighborhood.
At his early age, Rodney has already mastered chasing a tennis ball,
running for a frisbee and already knows how to sit! He has learned how
to climb up stairs but can't figure out how to get down them. He loves
to be held and loves to snuggle up to a warm body on the couch and watch
tv.
Rodney has grown by leaps and bounds. He is currently about eight months old
and weighs in around 60#. We call him the 'sidler' as you cannot go
anywhere in the house without him being right next to you, sometimes you
can't even hear him coming but then he just appears. As he has aged, he
seems to be more interested in playing frisbee catch than playing with
others. Very eager to please us and will chase the frisbee forever. He
gets regular trips to the doggie park and is enjoying hanging out with
his two guinea pig brothers! We have been truly blessed to have him as
part of the family.
