Oh!!
My big beautiful Haku!! He is just the funniest most lovin' guy
I've ever had! I rescued him from animal control here in Leander just
outside of Austin about two years ago. Can't imagine life without him
and his hugs and kisses these days!
Haku is convinced that he is a human boy, i'm sure of it. He talks
quite a bit in his own language. His vocal range goes from low, to high,
to real high and then he sometimes speaks solos in a step down kind of
chord to voice his opinion on matters.
He often sleeps upside down on his back, or upside down half falling off
the couch. All 85 pounds of him squeezes between my husband and I at
night and he ever so gruntfully pushes us far apart to cuddle with
usually me his mama! Then we talk baby talk and he huffs and puffs and
sighs and licks his lips over and over until he falls asleep. What a
sweetie!
Haku loves carrots and bananas. He takes good care of his new baby
brother Sumo (shown), and his nieces and nephews too. He is very alert
and he loves to point when he finds things of interest. He is still
trying to convince my 8 year old cat Nobi to cuddle with him, but my cat
isn't having it. Sometimes Haku loses his mind in a crazy happy frenzy
and runs like a mad man around the house - it's very funny.
He knows what lets go for a walk means and you better be prepared to
take him when you utter those words or else! He will be on top of you,
super happy within seconds of hearing those words.
Haku is my baby! I love having him as part of my family! Thank God I
found him that day!
