Woof!
My mum got me from the animal refuge in Townsville, North
Queensland, Australia when I was just eight weeks old. I was the only
puppy who kept trying to get my mum's attention each time she visited -
and she visited four times before she chose me! All the other pups I was
with eventually just got bored, fell asleep, or gave up. But not me! And
as soon as she held me in her arms, I fell asleep. No way was she
leaving without me, I knew she was the one for me.
Now we live in Adelaide, South Australia. As well as being a mix of
dalmatian and blue-heeler (Australian cattle dog), I have some Labrador
mixed up in me. (Maybe that's why I'm confused.) I'm adorable, funny and
loving (oh, and modest).
I have hundreds of wonderful facial expressions that continue to amaze
my mum. For example, I know how to make her feel guilty. When she
reverses out the driveway to go to work, I come to the gate and sit
down...with my back to her, and look over my shoulder as she leaves.
That works a treat, every time!
I love going for a drive in her car, especially when the roof is
down....aaahhh, snortin' and sniffin' the breeze is the best! And
I love going to the beach. I'm always guaranteed to find a smelly fish
to devour before my mum has time to tell me to drop it. He he he he he!
