This
is my Border Collie, Toby. My family rescued Toby from the Humane
Society in Grand Rapids, Michigan when he was three months old. Toby was
the cutest puppy ever! Toby is extremely loving. He follows you around
wherever you go. He always wants to be with the people he loves. Toby
is not independent at all. Sometimes we still have to hand-feed him.
He is special to me because Toby is everything you could ever want in
a dog.
Toby is too smart for his own good. Toby can do pretty much anything
and is very versatile. He knows more than ten tricks. They are sit, lay
down, roll over, shake, play dead, fetch, "kisses", stay, come, crawl,
back up, high five and too many more to name. He can even open the
door on his kennel. Toby's favorite thing to do is ride in the car.
Toby goes everywhere with us. The past two summers Toby went with us
on a cross-country road trip and sat in the front the whole entire
time.
Everybody loves Toby because he is the cutest Border Collie on the
west coast! Toby's favorite foods are Iams dog food, vanilla ice
cream, popcorn and practically everything else!
Toby loves playing with other dogs. Some of his friends are Rosie a
Black Lab, Abby a Golden Retriever, Riley a Golden Retriever and Zoe a
German Shepherd-Lab Mix. Toby has recently become a "big brother" to a
four month old Corgi-Pomeranian Mix puppy named Haley.
I am glad Toby is my dog because he is the most terrific dog in the
whole wide world!
