Well
everyone's pet is special to them, and so is Calvin to us. He
came to us when he was seven weeks old - so it's been just about a
month since he's been with us. He is intelligent and a quick learner.
He has already mastered the basic commands and is more or less trained
on all hygiene issues. Calvin is not fussy over food, neither is he
greedy. He will not touch a morsel from his food till he is instructed
to do so. He sleeps like a human (on his back) and is a great
companion. We have slowly tried to understand his form of
communication rather than make him understand us always: we can now
sense when he wants to play, when he wants to be taken out, when he is
hungry, when he wants us to wake up in the morning to be with him,
when he wants to just laze and be with himself... and so on. He is
pretty gutsy and not afraid of bigger dogs or for that matter anything
in the neighborhood. In fact he senses a problem, he's willing to take
it head-on!
Calvin has brought a lot of good cheer to our family and now it's
already difficult to imagine how life was without him.
