About Us
Bob, the Dog of the Day
Name: Bob
Age: Eight weeks old
Gender: Male Breed: Dog
Home: Monroeville, Pennsylvania, USA

Bob is a rescue dog. He is one of nine littermates born to Sadie who was originally rescued and then discovered to be pregnant. Bob can't go anywhere without drawing a crowd. People stop along the sidewalks, in parks and even passersby stop their cars to see Bob. They all ask the same thing, "What kind of dog is he"? Some then ask where they can get one.

Bob is a bit of a scamp. He is mischievous, lively and extremely energetic. He is also an apparent escape artist, having recently figured out how to open his house-training crate from the inside, setting himself free to roam the house.

Bob's name is Bob, actually "Charming Bob", but just Bob to us. He is eight weeks old (seven weeks in photos). Bob was thought to be a Cocker Spaniel mix by his rescuers, but since then we have been told that he is anything from a Wired Haired Terrier to a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen (PBGV). Maybe he is just a classic mutt, but he does appear to resemble a PBGV pup as he continues to get shaggier and his personality sure fits all descriptions we've read about one. I think Bob should "be in pictures!"
