Bree
is special to me in many, many ways! About two years ago, my parents
said I could get a dog of my own, but they said it had to be very small!
But it is very hard to find small dogs in Alaska. I looked in the
newspaper and at the pound for ten months... and didn't find a dog.
Finally we went to the pound one day and found the most adorable puppy
on earth! The pound people said that she was half beagle! We were so
happy! I got to take her home. The only problem was that she kept
growing, and growing and growing. We finally figured out that she must
be half Irish Wolfhound!!
Bree is so big now that our Border Collie can walk right under her!! She
thinks that she is a lap dog and tries to lie in my lap. She is the most
loving dog I have ever known! She licks my face and loves to play! She
has never nipped or bitten anyone. And with her shaggy coat, she does
fine in the snow - as you can see!
I love Bree sooo much!! Even though I can't pick her up or have her
cuddle up in my lap (despite her trying! she just doesn't fit!) I would
never replace her! Bree is my special, special dog!
