Hi,
my name is Buddy, but sometimes my mom and dad call my Roo because I
make this funny sound that goes "roo roo roo" instead of barking. I love
to play with my stuffed fish, it's my favorite. I can pick it out of all
my other toys if you tell me to.
I'm a pound puppy. My mom got me when I was a year old from a shelter in
Rock Springs, Wyoming, but now I am four. She picked me out because I
didn't jump up and bark like all the other dogs, I just sat there and
behaved myself and waited patiently to be petted. She doesn't care that
I'm a mutt. I'm half Dalmatian and half Blue Heeler.
My favorite thing to do is go run around in the sagebrush and chase bunnies
with my brothers Bullet and Ranger (they are both Blue Heeler mixes too).
We run and run and then finally go swimming. Sometimes my mom even takes
us along when she goes and rides her horse. I have to make sure to stay
out of the way though!
I love to cuddle too, especially under the blanket. I'm the best cuddle
buddy you will ever find. Really! I love everyone I meet; I don't have a
mean bone in my body. And I especially love children. Someday my mom
wants to get me certified as a therapy dog and take me to visit sick
children. But for now my only job is to play. And I'm good at it!
