Max
is my favorite dog in the whole world. We got him when he was four
months old, and he had been living in a flat all his life, so now he is
very energetic. But a year and a half later, I was diagnosed with cancer
in my leg. I had chemo and was very sick, but every time Max saw me, he
calmed down and came up to cuddle me, without going anywhere near my
legs. Then I had a big operation to remove the cancer and had a metal
frame on my leg. Max was even more careful around me, as if he could
sense that I was sick and had a sore leg. Once when I was in hospital
with my mum, he even went off his food because he missed us so much. He
is so cute that everyone who sees him loves him. Now that I am better he
is energetic and playful with me again. He is the best dog I've ever met
and always will be an important part of my life. This photo is of him in
my wheelchair, which he loves getting free rides in!
