This
is my dog Jackie. I had recently lost my thirteen-year-old West
Highland Terrier named Scruffy and was feeling so sad. One day I decided
to visit my local animal shelter and found this wonderful dog. He had
been at the shelter for over a month. I don't know how he ended up
there, or why he wasn't adopted sooner, but... it was love at first
sight and we both have been so happy ever since that day.
Jackie loves to run, jump and play with other dogs at our local dog
park. He sits for treats and has his own, self-appointed job. He stands
on my outside deck and barks at all the goings on in our neighborhood,
keeping track of everyone. I am so fortunate to have him in my life!
