I
recently moved to North Carolina from Baltimore. My dog which I had
since I was about eight died this year on July 4th. I was heartbroken. I
knew going away to college and leaving her behind would be hard, but I
never thought that she wouldn't be there to say goodbye. I began looking
for toy american eskimos and they are so hard to find and so expensive.
I couldn't believe when I found Daisy because she was at a shelter for a
fraction of the cost of what a purebred puppy would have been, even if I
had been able to find one. I didn't know how old she was until I drove
three hours to pick her up and then I knew we were meant to be together.
She was born the same week my dog died. Also, not only is she new to the
world, I'm new to North Carolina so we are growing together.
