I
adopted Sadie from a rescue shelter. They told me her mother was a
Border Collie, which is very hard to believe by the looks of her. I
think she looks more like a Bull Terrier mix. The first day I met her
she curled up in my arms and that was it, she was coming home with me.
She's very submissive and loves to cuddle. Since day one she sleeps in
bed with me and my two cats. When everyone meets her, they want to go
out and adopt a puppy (hoping it will be just like her).
Sadie likes to play with her favorite squeaky toy and chase the cats
around the house. When I take her for her walk, she insists on meeting
every single person that passes, by rolling over and waiting for a belly
rub. Sadie has a favorite play date once a week, a nine-month-old lab mix
named Strophe and goes to Doggie Day Care once a week. She also enjoys
going to the dog park, staying at grandma's house when mom needs a
baby-sitter and her weekly obedience class. She is learning to sit,
stay, lay down and give paw.
Sadie has been an excellent addition to the family and puts a smile on
everyone's face!
