Phoebe
was a surprise birthday present for my brother. As she was being
flown in from another city, we told him that we were going to the
airport to pick up our cousin who was coming to visit some time in the
near future. Unfortunately, Phoebe didn't make her flight as she'd
been playing the prima donna and was kicked off the plane for making too
much noise. After making a fumbled excuse to my brother about our
cousins missing their flight, we returned to the airport later that day
to collect a very floppy and sleepy Phoebe who had now been given a
herbal sedative to make her sleep through the flight. When we arrived
home and presented her to my brother the first thing he asked was
whether she was our cousin's dog - he was delighted to find out she was
ours! After ten minutes of exploring her new home, Phoebe toppled over
and fell asleep in the doorway.
Phoebe is a wonderfully loving pet who is completely pampered and is
convinced she is a cat - her favorite toy is a plush kangaroo, whose
ears she sucks while prodding her sheepskin! She's our girl!
