This
is our dog, Sweep! She is a spayed female retired racing
greyhound. She lives in our home in Ohio, with two other retired racers
and two cats! Sweep is full of energy, and is one of the most playful
greyhounds I've ever seen! She raced on a track in Daytona, Florida,
where she was one of the slowest racers there. She lost numerous races
by vast gaps, and I'm sure that if it were not for rescues like the one
we adopted her from, she would've been euthanized for her poor
performance. Luckily, she came into our home instead!
Sweep is so special to us because she is so full of life and love, and
she makes every day so much brighter! Her favorite things to do are
chew on smoked ham bones and chase her brother and sister around the
yard! We love Sweep so much, and we're thankful each day that she's
come into our lives.
