When
we went to pick out our puppy, they were all wrestling around and
growling. Then we spotted one that picked up a stick, took it back
to his rug, and calmly layed and chewed on it. He was so sweet and
mellow, that we just couldn't resist him. Rudy has remained that sweet
and mellow boy all through his puppy days. He's now three years old and
weighs 68 pounds, but he's still as loveable as ever. He has three kitty
brothers and two kitty sisters who all adore him. He enjoys their company
and lets them cuddle up with him. I've seen times when the cats will be
sleeping in his bed, and he'll walk away and lay on the floor as if he
doesn't want to bother them. Every night at bedtime, he grabs his
"blankie" and runs into the bedroom with it. I sometimes think we
should have named him Linus because he never naps or goes to bed
without his "security blanket".
Rudy's favorite time of the year is winter. He enjoys the Wisconsin
snow. He never tires of rolling in the snow and running laps around the
big Evergreen tree in our yard.
