Marty
is a Wheaten Terrier. My boyfriend Joe and I met him and his
previous owners on an ad on Craigslist. Marty had been feeling a little
sad for some time- he had a brother who was the alpha dog and two
toddlers in the house. There was not much attention being given to him.
He would lay in the closet all day and was very nervous. He had bitten
someone when he was little and so was unable to go to a shelter - but he
didn't need to go there!
Marty has been with us for almost six months now. He is a new dog. He
lives with Joe and gets non-stop attention. We both have the biggest
soft spot for him. We are so proud of him - he is so confident!! He is
the king of his castle (condo) and the number one dog in his
neighborhood! He is popular regular at all the dog parks in Chicago.
All you have to say is "do you want to go out?" He gets up, slides
into some stretches, shakes off the nap and gets going. He knows that
there are a lot of things and butts he need to sniff! He is always
smiley with his tailwaggin'! He has perfected begging - he could win an
Oscar for his performances every night!! Who could resist! What a
pooch!
