Sherry
is my precious little princess. She was given to me by my husband
on my birthday fourteen years ago. I've had her since she was a baby.
She is very unique in many ways. She loves to dress up and has a
different scarf every day of the month. Sherry is a princess and always
gets her way - whether you like it or not. The only thing missing is a
tiara.
Sherry makes me feel better by giving me lots of hugs and kisses. She's
comforting when I feel down and distracts me when I'm in a bad mood by
telling me in her own little way, "okay Mom, time to pay attention to me
now and wait on me some more, c'mon, I'd like a snackie."
Sherry goes to work with me every day now. Since she's older and has
some back problems, she cannot get up on her own anymore. But once she
gets moving, she usually walks on her own. My friends and I carry her
up in a wagon to the second floor every day since she can't climb and
she greets clients all day. She even gets paid with Milk Bones. She
loves to work. When she's not stealing her Daddy's tea off the coffee
table, she yells at him to hurry up and go make breakfast. She stands
next to him while he scrambles eggs and Daddy gives her cheese while
she's helping. Then she gets the rest of Daddy's eggs when he's done.
She chases him around the coffee table when she wants him to get up and
get a snack and when he doesn't move fast enough, she gives him little
"love nips" to move him along. Sherry's one in a million. I don't know
what I'd do without her.
