Angus
is a very special retriever. He was a rescue who we adopted when he
was just eighteen months old. His previous owners had to give him up for
adoption because they had three very young children and could not give him
the exercise he needed but passed a very sad note saying how much they
loved him and that he sang to Star Trek!!
Angus has changed my life he is so gregarious and everyone in the park
where I walk him daily admires him especially children who think he
looks like a polar bear! Angus is a great actor. If you leave him for
even half an hour when you return he rolls around and whines making you
feel so guilty ... that he just has to have a treat! In recent years Angus
has developed bad arthritis in his front joints but never complains and
now he goes to hydrotherapy once a week and swims like a fish. Angus is
our star and certainly our dog of the day ... every day.
