This
is Peanut. He is a smooth coat red dapple dachshund. My
"Peanut-boy" is just the best little dog I've ever had. As you can see
he's just waiting to play. He makes me laugh when he greets me at the
door and does his little "Peanut dance". He loves toys that squeak and
his little stuffed "baby" that he picked out himself at the store. He is
a very fierce protector and people who hear him bark before seeing him
think he's a much larger dog. He is a wonderful companion and hardly
ever leaves my side except to chase the squirrels and rabbits out of his
yard. (Luckily he doesn't dig!) Best of all he makes me laugh. Sometimes
he is just so comical. You can always tell just what he is thinking by
the look on his face. His favorite spot is in front of the living room
window so he can watch everything that goes on outside and of course he
has to tell everyone all about it! At night he is such a cuddler while I
watch TV and after going to bed ... somehow during the night he always
ends up between my husband and myself just snoring away! We love him
very much and he is truly a member of our family!
