This
is Bella a.k.a. Bellarina a.k.a. Portabella a.k.a. Beebee, Baby or
Bebe, but most recently she has acquired the title of "Dude" and seems
quite content with it. True to the breed she has a quirky character and
does everything full tilt, nothing is halfway. She lives to play with
her many toys and to sleep in the bed. Unfortunate for me as she can
snore with the best of them.
Sometimes I think she may be more pig than dog as she snorts around
quite a bit. And I have even been told that she sounds like she is
purring like a cat. Bella is very happy loving girl, she loves people
and will greet anyone who comes through the door with a toy. She also
thinks that she is a much bigger dog than her 20 pounds, as she loves to
wrestle with her very tall aunty Sadie (whippet, lab mix).
For the past five years Bella has become the most important element in
my life. She is spoiled rotten and knows that she is pretty much the
boss, but looking into those big Boston eyes how could I not let her do
what she wants?!
