This
is my dog Storm. She is a Siberian Husky who lives in Saint Paul,
Minnesota with my mom, my dad, my two cats and I. She is special to us
because she has a beautiful smile.
My family and I had just "put down" our previous dog, Belit, when we
went on vacation. I was heartbroken because I had had Belit my entire
life, she was old and so sick we had to put her "down." When we came
back from vacation we looked through the local human society. We had
looked there before vacation and saw so many adorable adoptable puppies.
But when we went there after vacation the only canine there was a really
old poodle. We searched high and low for a puppy when we found a place
where they said that they had a Black Labrador Retriever puppy. We
rushed over, and we looked, it was nowhere to be seen. We asked the
woman at the front desk, she said it would be in foster care for another
few weeks. I was worried I wouldn't have gotten to bond with it by then
because of school, so we left in a huff.
My mother then remembered about the pet store near my grandmother's
house and called them. They said they had two Siberian Husky puppies
left. When we got there one of the Siberian Huskies, Storm's sister
had already been sold. We got Storm then and have been happy ever since.
Storm can be a handful at times, getting out of the yard, running around
the house, chewing on things but we still love her. She does the cutest
things too, she smiles and talks/sings. I play the clarinet and when
ever I play it at home she starts to sing and it is so funny that I
can't help but laugh, it makes it hard to play though. We couldn't be
happier with another dog after Belit though. And she's just so darn
cute!
