Meet
Sweetie, named because she's just the sweetest dog I've ever known.
We rescued Sweetie from a neglectful home three years ago. She was chained
outside in bad weather and could not get to her food, water, or shelter.
We asked the residents if they would like to give the dog a good home,
and they sold her to us for $15.00. Best $15 we've ever spent!
We got her home to find the best behaved, most loving dog. She adores
kids and will roll over for anyone to rub her tummy. She snuggles with
the cats and loves to go for long walks.
When I've had a bad day, all I have to do is see this face greet me at
the door to make me smile again. Look at her! How can that face not
make you melt? She is truly a remarkable dog.
Last year, Sweetie was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. She had a
really tough time for a while, but with medication she's now doing well
and should have a normal life. She's made our lives very special.
