This
is a very Happy girl that loves to be out and about with us! Happy
is a really fun dog. She is our three-year-old Maltese and my husband's and
my first dog. How can you love this little fur baby so much is just
unbelievable to us. She loves to be on her back and have her belly
rubbed, upside down Happy is what we call it. She just loves to be with
us and grows sweeter and sweeter every day. She is a dog that is a true
companion.
She knows plenty of tricks - Sit, Stay, Down, Paw, Other One, Roll Over
and the funniest is Sneeze, she will do it on command. She loves to show
off for company and do all her tricks and giving her Pupcorn is a sure
way to get her to do them all, that is her favorite treat and she will
do anything for it. She always has to play with her Monkey in front of
company too. She has a love/hate relationship with it we call it. She
loves to shake it, play fetch with it and she dominates the monkey by
humping it on her squishy pillow which is totally hilarious. We can say
"get that monkey" and she will start playing with it and our company
just dies laughing at her antics with her monkey. That is the only toy
she really likes, we have several of that same monkey on hand as we have
to replace it about once a year as it will get "worn out" from all her
saliva and playing with it. She also loves rawhides and chewing them
especially at night in bed with us, yes, she sleeps with us, always
upside down we call it, we can reach down at anytime in the middle of
the night and rub the softest thing in the world, the Happy belly.
Wherever we are she is, whenever we go she wants to go, going for rides
is her favorite thing to do. She has her own car seat and loves road
trips, we can take her anywhere, anytime she is always by the door under
our feet when we leave she doesn't want to be left. She learned what
"go" is fast, we have to be really careful if we say that word, she
flips out, gets all excited. In fact, she is so smart we have to change
what we say often when we know we can't take her with us, it's really
funny. She knows what ride means, ready, depart, want to, shall we,
let's do it, she just knows they all mean we are leaving and our most
current word she hasn't learned quite yet is "today".
Happy is the best dog ever, well besides her sister, Joy Joy. We got
Happy a companion, another dog when she was one year, they are best
buddies. You can see much more of our two girls at
their website
- they are just a little spoiled.
