Well,
as you can see from above my name is Morgan. When this was written
I had been with my new family fourteen weeks as they rescued me from a shelter
and boy am I glad they did. This is what they are talking about when
they say you "live a dog's life," WOW this is great!
My day starts out about 5:00 AM or so with both of my parents giving me
all the love that I want. I sleep most nights on the bed with them. Have
I said how great this is? Soon we get up and go outside for you
know... then breakfast... yay, food. Then time for a nap. I sleep most
of the day on the couch or a day bed (very comfy) to get ready for all
the fun that will be coming later. Mom takes me a walk every day to
break up my day. That's fun - she runs a lot when I lead. Soon dad comes
home and more fun. We both play out in the back yard with some of my
toys. Oh ya, I have a lot of toys. Some times we go to the local dog
"bark park," that's where I get to hang out with others just like me. We
run, swim and just do whatever we want. Then back home and time to eat.
Maybe later I get some treats for just being a good dog. That I can do
with no work involved. We just spend the rest of the night playing and
sometimes I get brushed.
Soon, it is time for bed. We all go back together - with a kiss from
both mom and dad we are off to sleep. Then it all starts again when I
wake up. Man what a life! Did I say they don't even mind that I snore in
my sleep sometimes? Hope all you dogs out there find a great family like
I did. Waggin' my tail happily, Morgan.
