Meet
Diesel. He is only six months old and already weighs 90 pounds and
stands about 28 inches tall! He is Great Dane and ? - it's a mystery,
but something fuzzier!
I found him taped up in a box that had been dumped at a construction
site. He was only five or six weeks old then. He was very small and bony and
had a terrible cold. I thought he was a pitbull at first because of his
brindle coloring ... but then he started growing and growing and growing! His
paws are as big as my hand! Talk about clumsy! He still makes us laugh
to watch him on our hardwood floors chasing tennis balls.
Diesel is the prince charming of all dogs. He loves to lean into me and
I call him my "Velcro dog." Anywhere we go, people love how
well-mannered he is, especially at outdoor cafés.
We don't know how big he's going to end up... but it sure is fun watching
him grow and thrive as a part of our family.
